1. Polyester fabric has high strength. Short fiber strength of 2.6-5.7cn/dtex, high strength fiber of 5.6-8.0cn/dtex, because of the low moisture absorption, its wet strength and dry strength is basically the same, impact strength is 4 times higher than nylon, 20 times higher than viscose fiber.
2, polyester fabric has strong elasticity. The elasticity is close to wool, when the elongation is 5%-6%, it can be almost completely recovered. The polyester fabric can be restored to its original shape soon after repeated rubbing, and no wrinkles will be left. The elastic modulus is 22-141cn /dtex, 2-3 times higher than nylon, which is incomparable to other fabrics.
3. Polyester fabric has good heat resistance. Polyester has the best heat resistance among synthetic fabrics and is highly plastic. If it is made into pleated skirts, it can keep pleats well and does not require excessive ironing.
4. The light resistance of polyester fabric is good. Items made of polyester are usually more sun-resistant than those made of natural fibers, and it’s fine to leave them out in the sun.
5, polyester fabric has good wear resistance. Wear resistance is second only to the best wear resistance of nylon, than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers are better.
